TIMEBOMB PROMOTIONS PRESENTS....
FRIDAY 24th FEBRUARY 2006
UPSATIRS @ FIREFLY, MILLSTONE LANE, LEICESTER
www.barfirefly.co.uk
THE BIGGEST PARTY LEICESTER HAS EVER SEEN.....
7 SECONDS OF LOVE
www.7secondsoflove.com
London based bouncy ska band fronted by Joel (The man behind Rathergood.com). They sound like the bastard love child of Bad Manners and Madness singing songs about drinking, soup on your head and ninja's..... This is one of the first or maybe even THE first time they've played this far north and it promises to be VERY VERY Lively... You'd be mad to miss these
NEW YORK SCUM HATERS
www.newyorkscumhaters.co.uk
Norwhich/Newcastle based Ramones obsessives, playing the songs of the ramones but giving it a touch of that brittish punk sound along the way. They've played with bands like UK Subs and many many others and they're loud, fast and guarenteed to have you singing along!
MJ HIBBETT AND THE VALIDATORS
www.mjhibbett.com/
They are most commonly known for being the band that did the song on B3TA called "Hey Hey 16k" but as well as that they're a lively sing along style band with songs about everything from Saturday Morning Wrestling to Mental Judo... Always guarenteed to raise a smile and leave you humming along for weeks after!
Entry is a measly £4 or £3 with a flyer..... Doors are 8pm with bands starting around half 8!! I know I say this every time but I'm rarely proven wrong.... This will quite possibly fill the venue so get there early to avoid dissapointment!
This will be one of the best gigs you've ever been to, don't have it as the one you're sorry you'd missed!.....
Also its my 25th Birthday that day too so it will end up messy!!!
